Another shipping update!

Hello! I've been working on shipping out books. We had a short delay while I attended Rose City Comic Con in Portland, Oregon, but we've been full steam ahead since I got back.
This is the single largest fulfilment I've ever done (and I've fulfilled about 30 Kickstarters), but we are getting there. I am also in the midst of fulfilling two other comic book Kickstarters under my non-pen name (Caleb Palmquist), so I've been basically operating as a one-man fulfilment center for the past week and a half.

A small update on issue 2 - Dorilys is still working on pencils, and we have almost all the covers already done. We have committed to not launching until ALL the packages from issue 1 are out, AND until the art on issue 2 is 100% complete. That way we can get the books out faster, and not have a long delay like we did for this first issue.

Printing Update + Issue 2 Update

Just checking in with a quick update.
Unfortunately, still dealing with printer issues. Hopefully I'll have a solution soon, but I wanted to let you know that we are still tied up with a printer that is way behind.
I wish I had a better update for you, but for now I can only assure you that we are working to get this done as quickly as we can.
We have begun art production on issue #2 because Dorilys is available and we don't want to miss our window with her to move forward. Of course, we won't even consider launching #2 until #1 is completely delivered to all the backers.

Hello! Glad to announce that the comic is completed, and I have sent an email blast out to all backers via Backerkit with the download. If you don't receive it, please let me know and I'll make sure you get the download.
I have encountered a printing delay due to an unforeseen issue with the printer I intended to use. I'm looking into alternatives, and hope to proceed with printing before too long. I will keep everyone updated.

Small Correction

There was a small error on the Backerkit survey that specifically affected the "Digital Deluxe" pledge level. What happened was I assigned the Bad Bug Tarot Card stretch goal item to every physical level, but I forgot to select out the "Digital Deluxe" level. Because the tarot card is a physical item, this caused every "Digital Deluxe" backer to be charged the minimum shipping charge for a physical package. Obviously, that was bad news.
The good news is I have now gone through and deleted that reward from every digital pledge, which means no digital only pledge should be charged any shipping UNLESS you add on a physical item on the survey. If you already completed your survey, you won't have been charged yet, and that shipping charge should now be gone. You should be able to log back into your Backerkit survey to confirm.
If you are a digital-only backer and you're still seeing a shipping charge, please let me know and I'll fix it right away.
Thanks everyone for bringing this to my attention, and being patient while I fixed the problem. I strive to be as efficient as possible with this kind of thing, but sometimes mistakes happen. It's my policy to be as transparent and up-front about any errors or mistakes as possible.
